Overlooking the Gulf of Paria, and set among 25 acres of lush landscaped gardens, the Hilton Hotel of Trinidad and Tobago has 418 rooms, including 27 suites. All rooms have a private balcony with a stunning view.
 
Guests staying in the executive rooms and suites enjoy access to the 1,400 square foot lounge and all the comfort of contemporary furnishings, the cyber cafe, guest services desk, bar and buffet, together with a stylish private balcony. Additional facilities include a fitness center and sauna, 2 tennis courts, 2 outdoor swimming pools and restaurants. 
 
The hotel also features a modern, multi-functional conference center and other events rooms that can host up to 1000 guests. More recently, a Grand Ballroom was added, offering superb banqueting facilities and outstanding service. 
 
The decor is contemporary, with natural wood furnishings and high-end amenities. The modern bathrooms feature a glass-enclosed bathtub with soothing rainfall and hand-held shower.
Anecdote

As part of an ongoing refurbishment program, the public areas, meeting facilities, Carnival Bar and Upper Tea Terrace had already been upgraded when President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and the entire presidential entourage visited the hotel for the Summit of the Americas in April 2009.
