Warsaw, phoenix of the East
The Polish capital is the 8thlargest city in the EU. It is the principal economic centre in Central Europe, boasting a wide range of industries, 66 higher education establishments, a business district among the most modern on the continent, and a candidate to be the European Capital of Culture in 2016.
The city that was 85% destroyed in 1945 has taken its revenge. With its historic centre identically rebuilt, it has risen from the ashes. More than that, it is now striving for modernity. It was in its centre that the Stawki building was born. Its refined architecture comprises 192 high class dwellings with services comparable to large international hotels. Its boldly-designed interiors and triangular shape add to its image of state-of-the-art luxury. In keeping with the city, it is the last word in contemporary design.
